Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Health and Safety Professional to join our dedicated Health, Safety Environmental (HSE) Team at Lilly's new Next-Generation manufacturing facility in Limerick.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, integrate and improve Safety/Health programmes including but not limited to Safety Mindsets, Training and Awareness.
  • Provide specialist advice and technical guidance/expertise to the site to ensure compliance with Safety/Health legislation, corporate standards, policies and industry guidance.
  • Support the development of a safety environment with integrated safety practices and open safety conversations.
  • Develop and deliver high quality Safety/Health training.
  • Understand and implement Safety/Health requirements in a project environment through knowledge of applicable legislation and industry practices.
  • Complete site performance metric reviews and analysis.
  • Support site audits, self-assessments, management reviews and corporate audits/external regulatory audits.
  • Collaborate with site manufacturing and technical support personnel to run Safety/Health aspects of new / established processes.
  • Work well with external and internal partners as needed.
  • Support and interact in required site team and HSE Team meetings.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety (or related subject) and a minimum of 2-4 years relevant professional experience in a manufacturing facility (Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated Industry).
