Your Role: As a Healthcare Assistant at Beacon CARE Fertility, you will play a vital role in our team, supporting the Nurse Manager and nursing staff in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You will assist in various day-to-day activities, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible experience during their treatment. Key Responsibilities: Professional Responsibilities: Ensure patient care is delivered efficiently, effectively, and to the highest standards. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all BCF protocols and relevant legislation. Provide support to the Nurse Manager and Staff Nurses in managing patient care. Foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues, contributing to a supportive work environment. Clinical Responsibilities: Greet and escort patients to their allocated areas. Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort post-procedure, including providing refreshments. Maintain hygiene standards by following proper cleaning protocols and preparing beds for new patients. Assist in stock control and waste management, ensuring all supplies are used efficiently and disposed of correctly. Accurately prepare and maintain patient documentation, including data entry and filing. Ideal Candidate: Qualifications: Minimum QQI Level 5 Healthcare Award. Experience: 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is desirable. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy, with experience in medical software (desirable). Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Compassionate and patient-focused, with a commitment to delivering quality care. Flexible attitude towards work.
