High-quality care is provided 24/7 at Sancta Maria, a modern nursing home in the Kinnegad countryside. We seek Healthcare Assistants to join our multidisciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support Nursing Staff: Deliver high-quality care to residents and contribute to a positive living environment.
- Understand residents' interests and needs, providing companionship and attention.
- Promote mobility, supervise, and assist residents as needed.
- Assist with personal hygiene, eating, and achieving physical comfort.
- Participate in social activities and develop good relationships with residents, family, and staff.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and health and safety in the home.
Qualifications and Skills:
- FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare or equivalent.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment with a good understanding of HIQA standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to maintain a positive approach and a caring nature.
- Fluent English, both written and oral.
