Job Description
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, promoting their dignity and individuality, and contributing to a positive team environment.

Our purpose-built Nursing Homes provide private residential, convalescent, and rehabilitative care in various locations across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as washing, toileting, dressing, and undressing, while maintaining their comfort and dignity.
- Provide emotional and spiritual support to residents, promoting their well-being and quality of life.
- Monitor and report on the well-being of residents, including those with limited mobility or physical/learning difficulties.
- Assist with social activities, such as interacting with residents and helping them continue with hobbies and interests.
- Answer the door and telephone, and respond to nurse call systems as required.
- Carry out regular checks on residents, make visitors feel welcome, and provide refreshments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment, including making and changing beds, emptying commodes, and cleaning equipment.
- Assist with meal times, including serving food and drinks, and washing up as required.
- Escort residents on social outings and hospital visits, and practice integrity in all dealings with residents' personal and financial affairs.
Requirements:
- Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Willingness to be a team player.
- FETEC/NFQ 5 or equivalent qualification.
- Current Influenza and COVID Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain these).
