Responsibilities of this Healthcare Assistant job: Provide personal care assistance to residents including help with bathing, dressing and grooming. Collaborate with nurses to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support. Aid in resident's mobility, transfers and overall physical comfort to enhance their quality of life. Observe and promptly report any changes in resident's health or behaviour to nursing staff. Follow strict infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff. Adhere to all HSE requirements and guidelines and provide excellent quality healthcare and assistance with nursing services. Requirements of this Healthcare Assistant job: A minimum of QQI Level 5 in healthcare or an equivalent qualification along with required HSE certifications. Strong communication, organisational, interpersonal, and observational skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
