We are seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our team in Kilkenny, providing support to individuals with severe/profound intellectual disabilities in all aspects of daily life. The successful candidate will assist in the provision of health and social care, ensuring the needs and preferences of each individual are met through professional work practices.
The ideal candidate will be a positive and communicative person, passionate about providing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities. They will be flexible in their approach to service provision and able to work as a member of a team.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
- Support individuals in achieving their goals and aspirations
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure high-quality care
- Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, families, and carers

Requirements:
- QQI Level 5 or equivalent
- Driving license
- Good level of English
