Required Competencies and Training
- Compassion, patience, and empathy
- Dependable and attentive, with a strong commitment to providing high levels of care
- Excellent communication skills, with clients and support team
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and maintain health and safety standards
- Related experience providing care is desirable
- QQI level 5 Healthcare modules, including Care Skills and Care of the Elderly, are required
- Up-to-date patient moving and handling certificate
- International Police Clearance (where applicable)

- Assist with personal and practical care, including daily living activities
- Facilitate independence and social involvement for clients
- Maintain dignity, privacy, and independence for clients
- Report any issues to your manager
