What you need to know Are you experienced in Quality & Safety management within the healthcare sector? If so, my client looking to recruit aQuality & Safety Manager (hybrid) for their facility in Tullamore, Co. Offaly This is a permanent job with hybrid working As the Quality & Safety Manager,you will manage the organisations safety, quality & risk programmes inline with legislation & policies/procedures Your new job Key duties & responsibilities: Support management in quality & continuous improvement practices Liaise with external healthcare bodies/organisations Develop a Q&S workplan Manage Risk policies Provide a framework for the development of policies and procedures Quality audits Support management on incidents/complaints & safeguarding procedures Implement quality improvement initiatives & Q&S training/mentoring. Identify areas of risk and strategies to reduce Maintain and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) Work with HR on compliance of training requirements Develop quarterly quality reports Ensure Health & Safety policies/procedures are adhered to Flexibility to travel - must have own transport and full Irish Driving License What are we looking for? 3rd level Qualification in relevant Quality/Healthcare discipline Certificate in risk management At least 5 years work experience in Quality/Safety & Risk Management or related role Strong knowledge of quality & safety standards Ability to implement development/training programmes Knowledge of relevant regulations/legislations IT systems & MS Office applications & experience using Eloomi and/ or ViClarity is desirable. Strong work ethic with excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, conflict management, customer service and decision-making skills. Capable of working independently, managing own workload and reporting. Experience in the Home Support Services sector is desirable.
