Job Description
We are seeking a Healthcare Risk and Compliance Manager with a strong background in quality management to lead our organization's quality assurance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality management frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct audits and inspections to evaluate the efficiency of controls and implement action plans for improvement.
- Lead and manage the quality and compliance team, providing support and supervision to carry out their roles and responsibilities.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other support functions to develop, implement, and report on compliance issues.
- Provide leadership and direction on all aspects of quality, risk, and safety for staff and management teams.
- Maintain accurate electronic filing systems and ensure compliance with documentation standards, including individual files and records management.
- Oversee and manage data confidentiality in line with policy and GDPR.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Level 7 Degree on the QQI Framework in a relevant professional discipline, such as Social Care Studies, Social Care Work, Health, or ID Nursing.
- Postgraduate qualification in Quality Management is highly advantageous.
- Experience within Healthcare and knowledge of HIQA standards.
- High level of flexibility and willingness to develop new approaches to work.
