Healthcare Subject Matter Expert / Analyst (GVI) Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client, have a requirement for an experienced Healthcare Subject Matter Expert / Analyst to join their team. The duration of this post is initially 11 months with possible extensions thereafter. The location will be based onsite in Dublin. Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €30.17 per hour based on an annualised salary of €55,093. The successful candidate will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and be paid for bank holidays. Position Overview: Healthcare ICT Delivery Subject Matter Experts Our Client are seeking highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Experts to join their dynamic team. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Healthcare ICT Delivery, you will play a critical role in driving the successful implementation of ICT solutions. The ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of the workflow processes, regulations, and industry best practices for one of all of the following systems, Laboratory, ED, PAS, Patient Administration, and Order Communications. They will have a proven track record in the implementation of workflow processes/ applications within a healthcare settings, with a focus on improving patient care, operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Applications Strategy and Planning: Provide expertise and guidance in the development and execution of business process strategies aligned with healthcare industry trends and hospital goals. Assess existing workflow processes, and recommend improvements to support the hospital transformation. Collaborate with stakeholders to define application requirements, evaluate solutions and deliver the agreed implementation roadmap. Solution Design and Implementation: Provide expert guidance on the design and implementation of the application solution. Ensure alignment of solutions with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards. Collaborate with the delivery teams to oversee the configuration, testing, and deployment of the solution, ensuring their effective integration with existing systems and workflows. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the HSE, healthcare professionals, administrators, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective workflows. Provide subject matter expertise and support in workflow reviews, training, change management, and user adoption activities. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure successful project outcomes. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation across the hospital. Proactively contribute to knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and best practices to drive continuous improvement within the hospital. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience (between 7 & 10+ years) as a Healthcare Subject Matter Expert, managing and delivering projects in the healthcare sector. In-depth knowledge of healthcare processes, standards, regulations (e.g., HIQA ), and healthcare best practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and scalable solutions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the hospital. Bachelor's/Masters degree in healthcare informatics, computer science, or a related field, is a plus. Unijobs is an equal opportunities employer.
