Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Fern Dean NH. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering holistic care to residents, promoting their equality and dignity.
- Carry out assigned tasks involving direct care and activities of daily living, such as washing, toileting, dressing, and dining.
- Respect residents' privacy and dignity, promoting their independence.
- Provide particular attention to residents with limited mobility.
- Understand and observe care plans, alerting nurses to any changes in residents' physical and mental state.
- Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with residents and their relatives/representatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum partial QQI Level 5 Award - Healthcare or equivalent.
- Elder care experience.
- Excellent communication and personal care abilities.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
