Situated in Dublin, they are seeking a proficient Industrial Heat Pump Engineer to enhance their innovative team. Key Responsibilities: * Heat Pump Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair diverse water-to-water heat pump systems. * Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. * Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions to implement efficient repair solutions. * Regular Servicing: Perform scheduled equipment servicing to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. * Refrigerant Management: Monitor and regulate refrigerant levels to meet environmental compliance. * Project Coordination: Collaborate with team members to oversee installation projects and ensure timely completion. * Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts and labour. * Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of advancements and emerging technologies in refrigeration systems. * Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to safety protocols for a secure work environment. * Solar PV Systems: Inspect and maintain large-scale solar PV systems. Requirements: * Experience: Demonstrated background as a chiller/refrigeration engineer, specialising in heat pumps and water-to-water chillers. * Technical Knowledge: Profound understanding of refrigeration systems, various refrigerants, and their properties. * Diagnostic Skills: Ability to proficiently diagnose and resolve refrigeration system issues. * Technical Literacy: Competence in interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. * Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. * Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. * Certification: Valid refrigeration engineer license/certification. * Teamwork: Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-apprenticeship experience in the industrial or commercial sector. * Sustainable Practices: Familiarity with energy-efficient and sustainable practices. * Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards. * CMMS Experience: Proficiency with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
