Job Title: Helpdesk Support (Junior) Location: Dublin 11 (Onsite Role) Contract Duration: 24 months Contract Type: Contracting Role Day Rate: €130 €150 per day Start Date: 01/11/2024 Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Helpdesk Support professional to join our client's team, providing vital support within a government sector client. This is an onsite role based in Dublin 11, with a 24-month contract duration. You will play an essential part in maintaining and supporting the Microsoft-based infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and helping to resolve technical issues for both IT and business stakeholders. Key Deliverables: Maintaining and Supporting: Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of Microsoft-based environments. Microsoft Infrastructure Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on the Microsoft infrastructure, ensuring its operation aligns with best practice standards. Liaison and Communication: Collaborate effectively with IT and business colleagues to address issues related to Microsoft infrastructure. Mandatory Qualifications: Level 7 or Higher Qualification: A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline. Required Experience and Skills: 2+ Years of Helpdesk Experience: At least two years of proven experience working within a helpdesk support role, ideally in a Microsoft Office-based environment, with exposure to hybrid work settings. Technical Competence: Strong understanding of the operation, troubleshooting, and support of Microsoft-based environments. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information effectively with both IT and non-technical colleagues.
