Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Junior Helpdesk Support Manager to lead the helpdesk operations for a government sector client.
This is a full-time onsite role based in Dublin 11, with a 24-month contract duration.
You will be responsible for managing the helpdesk function, ensuring the efficient resolution of technical issues, and maintaining a Microsoft-based infrastructure that supports both IT teams and business units.
Key Deliverables:Helpdesk Management: Oversee the helpdesk function, managing ticketing systems and ensuring timely issue resolution.
Microsoft Infrastructure Support: Maintain and support Microsoft-based environments, ensuring smooth operations in line with best practice standards.
Expertise in Microsoft Technologies: Provide subject matter expertise on Microsoft infrastructure, offering guidance on its optimal operation and troubleshooting.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Liaise and communicate effectively with IT and business stakeholders regarding Microsoft infrastructure and any arising issues.
Mandatory Qualifications: Level 7 or
Higher Qualification: A degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline is required.
It is a mandatory requirement, that the Resource proposed for this Role has the equivalent at least 2 years in in this Role.
Required Experience and Skills:Helpdesk Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing a helpdesk function in a Microsoft Office-based environment, with a focus on supporting hybrid work setups.
Technical Proficiency: Strong technical understanding of Microsoft-based environments, including their operation, maintenance, and support.
Communication Skills:Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with IT teams and business colleagues on technical issues and system improvements.
