Candidates with experience, duties to include: Planned preventative maintenance work and repairs To carry out duties associated with maintaining HGV vehicles including trucks, and trailers in accordance with work specifications set out by manufacturer, ensuring each vehicle receives high attention to detail and quality workmanship Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics Engine and transmission repairs Emissions system repairs Perform welding operations and other mechanical repair work as required CVRT and servicing work Experience required and knowledge of Volvo systems an advantage Full clean drivers licence plus own tools essential Pay dependant on experience Latest diagnostic tools and garage equipment supplied including Tech Tool, Jaltest, Wabco, SDP3, training provided Must be wiling to learn and attend training courses Skills Profile: HGV Mechanic National Craft Qualification essential At least 2/3-year post apprenticeship experience essential. A good foundation of general electrical experience essential and ability to read diagrams Good diagnostics skills Good knowledge of laptops and Microsoft products. Have excellent problem-solving ethics. D Licence preferable, B licence essential. Can follow clear instructions and fluent English (oral and written is essential).
