Seeking an HGV Mechanic to conduct fault diagnosis, perform regular service maintenance, and carry out repairs on a fleet of vehicles in Co. Longford.
Our client, a thriving Irish food group, requires a skilled professional with a formal qualification and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fault diagnosis on a fleet of vehicles to identify mechanical or technical issues.
- Perform regular service maintenance on all vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards.
- Carry out repairs on trucks and trailers, ensuring timely and efficient restoration to full working condition.
Requirements:
- A formal qualification such as a National Craft Certificate, City and Guilds Level 3 in vehicle repairs, or an equivalent certification.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a driven approach to prioritizing tasks and excellent attention to detail.
- A Rigid and Artic driving license is a plus.
