Job Title: Homeland Branch Manager

Location: Homeland Mayo/Sligo Area

Opportunity: Full-time

Aurivo Co-op is a large multi-purpose Co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, e-commerce, garden centres, livestock marketing and sports nutrition. Opportunity

Aurivo is now recruiting for a Homeland Branch Manager in the Mayo and Sligo areas. This role is responsible for the delivery of excellent customer service, strong team leadership and development, stock control and merchandising whilst delivering sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Proven track record of sales growth and motivating the team to achieve sales targets.
  2. Achieve budgeted financial objectives; managing expenditure; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  3. Identifying customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and existing customers.
  4. Drive operations by initiating and coordinating operational and personnel policies and procedures.
  5. Completes store operational requirements by motivating and organising your team and providing ongoing observation and feedback.
  6. Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising employees.
  7. Assess and improve processes - contributing to a team environment where continuous improvement is encouraged.
  8. Oversee pricing and stock control, formulating pricing policies; merchandising activities; identifying promotional opportunities; clearance sales and analysing sales trends.
  9. Protects employees and customers by providing a safe environment, ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation.
  10. Maintains the stability and reputation of our brands by complying with legal requirements.
  11. Develop sales strategy by using all available data; reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
  12. Maintain and develop professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning.
  13. Regularly communicate business and key information to your team.
  14. Be central to the community we work in.

Skills and Competencies

  1. Ability to work to strict deadlines.
  2. Knowledge of the Agri & Retail sector is an advantage.
  3. Excellent numeracy skills and good written and oral communication skills.
  4. The integrity and honesty to respect confidential information.
  5. Exemplary attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Ability to develop a high performing team.
  7. Outstanding time management and organisational skills.
  8. High level of initiative, with sense of responsibility.
  9. Computer literate (MS Office) Excel, POS, SharePoint, OBI etc.
