Job Description: The Sales Representative must educate medical professionals about hospice services, meeting customer needs with end of life care solutions to improve patient care quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become a subject matter expert on Medicare Hospice Benefit, agency service offerings, disease specific clinical criteria, and evidence based medicine.
- Set goals and results, focusing on providing solutions and executing them.
- Analyze territory, develop call routing, and establish targets, reach, and frequency for territory growth.
- Develop sales messaging and strategies to align with customer needs, ensuring hospice appropriate patients access hospice services.
Further Responsibilities:
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, and staying current with healthcare field changes.
- Leverage provided resources and technology for success, using a CRM tool to capture customer needs and strategy for continued hospice utilization.
- Develop clinical knowledge base to support sales efforts, maintaining professional relationships and collaborating with internal, clinical end of life care team.
- Resolve customer feedback by investigating opportunities, developing solutions, preparing reports, and collaborating on resolutions with program management.
- Timely complete administrative duties, including expense reports, payroll entry, and other administrative actions.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years sales experience or in healthcare services preferred
- Participated in competitive team environment with individual accountability and teamwork
- Able to demonstrate critical thinking and created solutions
- Past military service a plus
- Hospice experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service, sense of urgency, and problem solving skills
- Time Management and Organizational Skills
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours
- Ability to navigate within a CRM tool and proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Reliable transportation
- Able to expense minimal customer education when approved
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent preferred
- Other acceptable licenses include: RN, LPN/LVN, SW
