Job Description

HR Administrator sought to manage day-to-day HR operational tasks and provide guidance to managers and employees in Amsterdam and Dublin.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Payroll Specialists, HR Business Partners, the wider HR team, management and other key internal stakeholders. This opportunity will enable you to join the head office of our well-established global organisation.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Manage the smooth execution of the monthly payroll instructions and seek relevant management approvals where required
  • Act as the point of contact for external vendors and manage the associated administration
  • Proactively handle operational tasks such as work permit applications, promotions, transfers, restructures, internal communications, leavers and exit interviews
  • Provide ongoing support to employees with pension changes and various documentation
  • Assist with the onboarding process by issuing employment contracts and on-boarding documentation
  • Schedule and facilitate smooth new hire on-boarding process
  • Collaborate in audit processes and ensure CRH maintain full compliance
  • Act as an agent for change and drive continuous improvement and enhancements of HR processes, procedures and systems
  • Support various HR projects and initiatives

Key skills and competency requirements:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, MS Outlook and PDF
  • Relevant HR qualifications or studying towards required
  • Demonstrable skill in attention to detail
  • Well-developed communication skills with ability to communicate to all levels
  • Effective interpersonal and management skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in approach to work, with the ability to multi-task
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise
  • Process improvement mind set
  • Team player

Education and experience:

  • 1-2 years' experience working in a fast paced HR environment
  • Previous experience in data analysis an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field
