Job Summary:
The HR Advisor will serve as a strategic partner to managers and individual contributors, providing expert HR support and guidance on employment-related matters. This role requires a strong understanding of employment law and risk management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with managers on employment-related situations and partner with them on change initiatives with people impacts.
- Act as a liaison between the line, HR Business Partners, and other HR functions to ensure coordinated HR services meet internal client needs.
- Provide guidance and leadership to managers and partners on dispute resolution, disciplinary action, regulatory compliance, problem-solving, reductions in force, and litigation avoidance.
- Support the implementation of HR programs, such as career planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HR-related company guidelines and policies, as well as regional, country, local, and company regulations.
- Maintain awareness of and partner with Talent Acquisition to achieve a high-quality, diverse talent pipeline.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for the function and may participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives.
- Handle highly sensitive, confidential work.
- May serve on or lead projects.
Requirements:
- A college or university degree and/or relevant proven work experience.
- Solid understanding of risk associated with employment law.
- Consulting, interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and client service skills.
- Experience working with clients in multiple jurisdictions advantageous.
- Exceptional ability to organize and execute responsibilities.
