Job Description

HRBP (HR Business Partner, Hybrid role)required by leading Financial services company based in Waterford. The overall purpose of the role is:- Reporting to the AVP of HR & Communications, the Senior HRBP will be the primary HR contact for the International team in the Ireland office and will work with SL International Management and the International HuBS and global HR teams. The HRBP will foster a high-performance culture that attracts, retains and develops top talent. He/she will support organization development, succession and talent planning, DE&I initiatives, recognition and engagement activities, compensation & benefits programs and other initiatives designed to reinforce the company as a great place to work. Primary Responsibilities Ability to identify, develop and implement programs and processes to enhance our Employee Value Proposition and support business needs. For example, drive internal career paths, identify opportunities for Organizational Development, implement programs provided by Corporate HR Centres of Expertise (COE), etc. Support the Talent Review process for SLI, creating a pipeline of internal and external talent as part of a high-performance culture to retain and develop top talent, facilitate succession planning and resource growth initiatives. Manage Company-wide HR cycles within the Business Unit, for example, talent management, annual Code of Conduct completion, annual compensation cycles. Collaborate with the TA Specialist for recruitment and hiring activity in Ireland, including assisting with the recruitment cycle as necessary, providing a Best in Class onboarding experience, developing new hire itineraries. Drive effective workforce planning via ongoing discussions with Managers on staffing models, performance management, recruitment trends to attract, retain and develop top talent within the company. Collaborate with our TA and Total Reward teams to highlight trends, escalate issues and make suggestions to support the attraction and retention of Top Talent. Foster a culture of Diversity and Inclusion across the company to ensure every employee is afforded dignity and respect and can perform at their best, every day. Proactively arrange recognition and engagement events across our locations to encourage moments of togetherness as part of a hybrid workplace. Proactively provide counsel and advice to managers to reinforce our High-Performance Culture. Facilitate the effective resolution of ER issues. Capable of working with both local and global HR teams as part of a matrixed organisation and a Centres of Excellence model. Familiarity with Irish employment law and the ability to translate legal requirements into policies and procedures and cascade this information to our managers and their teams. Additional ad hoc duties as may arise from time to time in support of HR or business objectives. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelors degree or certification in human resources, organizational development or other directly related field. A minimum of 8 years of solid work experience in Human Resources with HR Generalist or Business Partner experience Ability to prioritize, negotiate, develop a stakeholder network and multi-task as essential skills for a HR Generalist role. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential Ability to build professional relationships with employees, managers and relevant stakeholders A strong orientation to client service Experience of organizing & delivering L&D activities an advantage Proficient user of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint is essential and familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday) is advantageous.
