Job Description

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for managing HR Operations and the development and delivery of programmes to support the attraction and retention of a talented people to support having the right people in the right place at the right time. Key activities include supporting and advising managers and employees on HR matters, managing the recruitment calendar, developing the employer brand, examining better ways to plan and support internal job moves, and developing innovative ways to attract people. HR Operations involves managing administration of joiners, leavers, and HR transactions, ensuring timely completion and minimal errors. Candidate Experience includes developing targeted recruitment campaigns, ensuring a seamless candidate experience, and delivering training programmes for hiring managers. Employer Brand involves creating a leading employer brand, developing an understanding of the current labour market, and optimising the website and social media presence.
Support and advise managers and employees on HR matters including policies and procedures, HR transactions, and query management.
Manage the recruitment calendar and ensure the efficient running of all recruitment activity.
Develop our employer brand to enhance the position of the Courts Service in the marketplace and optimise our careers website and social media presence.
Examine better ways to plan and support internal job moves.
Develop innovative ways to attract people including intern and graduate programmes.
Manage the administration of joiners, leavers, mid-career moves and all other types of HR transactions.
Ensure HR transactions are carried out on a timely basis and errors are minimal.
Ensure controls are in place to mitigate risks and systems and procedures are complied with.
Develop and implement targeted recruitment campaigns to attract top talent to ensure hiring the right people, at the right place, at the right time.
Ensure a seamless and positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Develop and deliver training programmes for hiring managers and interviewers to ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to effectively evaluate candidates and make selection decisions.
Explore avenues to attract and select those most suited to work in the Courts Service.
Create an employer brand whereby the Courts Service is perceived as a leading employer across the country and a destination for those seeking to work in the legal system.
Develop an understanding of the current labour market and the needs of today's applicants.
Ensure our website and that social media presence is optimised for attracting candidates.
Develop a third level qualification to FETAC Level 8 in an HR, Business or Legal discipline, post graduate qualification in HR is desirable.
Five years of generalist HR experience required. An application should be made by logging into the advertisement link, including a one-page cover letter and a cv of no more than three pages.
