Job Description

Seeking an HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR advice and support to managers and staff, ensuring compliance with HR policies and relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with Heads of Departments, Managers, and Staff, providing advice and assistance.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Collate, prepare, and complete reports for monthly payroll in conjunction with the payroll team.
  • Develop and issue Human Resources policies and procedures, and update as needed.
  • Assist in promoting good attendance management and support managers in efforts to maintain good attendance.
  • Participate in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates and guiding managers through the interview stage to placement.
  • Coach and support managers on ER policies and procedures and legal framework.
  • Prepare employee contracts, letters, and starter packs, and perform general administrative tasks.
  • Ensure processes, policies, systems, and relationships are fair, equitable, and foster a culture of openness, trust, and inclusion.
  • Assist in coordinating the Annual Performance Management process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 5-10 years of HR experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to be a strong team player and provide support at all levels.
  • Strong experience working with HR Systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal positively with difficult situations.
  • Solutions-oriented, creative, and proactive approach.
  • Ability to prioritize and work to key deadlines.
