Reporting to: Operations Director Location:This role will involve a mixture of one day on site in the Limerick office, nationwide travel to all school locations and some element of remote working. About Us: Our ethos is simple to help children and young people to make healthier food choices by making healthy food available in schools. We make it easy for kids to have access to healthy and delicious food at school with zero cost or hassle to the school. We operate national throughout Ireland in Primary and Secondary schools. Function: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. This role is designed for a highly motivated HR professional who will provide comprehensive HR support to our area managers across multiple locations and multiple businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of HR activities including employee relations, training, onboarding, recruitment, and policy implementation. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Employee Relations: Provide support and guidance to area managers on HR-related queries. Conduct mediation, investigations (grievance, disciplinary, dignity at work), disciplinaries, and appeals ensuring they are fair and compliant with company policies, fair procedure and employment law. Resolve employee issues and conflicts effectively and in a timely manner. Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for area managers. Ensure managers are equipped with the necessary skills to handle HR issues. Identify training needs and work with the Operations Director to address them. Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selecting candidates. Conduct onboarding for new employees, ensuring they receive all necessary training and resources. Prepare and manage employment contracts and other HR documentation. HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Ensure compliance with company policies and employment law. Provide support in the administration of employee benefits and payroll. Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ensure all HR policies are communicated effectively and adhered to across all locations. Travel and On-site Support: Travel to various locations to support area managers and address HR issues on-site. Work from the head office one day per week Other: This role requires flexibility to travel and stay overnight if necessary. A valid drivers license and access to transport is essential. QUALIFTICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-site environment. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Experience in preparing for and representing the company in WRC hearings or court proceedings. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to handle complex HR disputes and legal matters with professionalism and integrity. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to travel as required. REFERRED SKILLS CIPD qualification or equivalent. Experience with HR software and systems.
