Clare Distribution Services, a leading transport company, is seeking a HR Generalist to work within our HR Team based in Dublin. As a HR Generalist, you will support the HR Team in all aspects of Human Resources and Training.

The role involves:

  • Scheduling, coordination and delivery of training courses, including induction and refresher training
  • Assisting the HR Team with employee queries, such as policies and procedures, payroll and general HR queries
  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, paperwork, document checks, interview scheduling and reference checks
  • Managing new starter and leaver processes, liaising with payroll as required
  • Assisting with drafting, sending and filing of new employee documentation, including contracts and job specifications
  • Maintaining training records and ensuring all training is up to date
  • Assisting with the rollout of various initiatives, including performance management, HR Strategy, health and safety, training and development
  • Supporting the management and creation of plans for the onboarding of new team members
  • Managing stages of HR processes, including disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Setting up and maintaining employee profiles on systems, such as Stratum and Timepoint
  • Ensuring all driver documentation is up to date and renewed in advance of expiry dates
  • Supporting with company audits
  • Other relevant duties as required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a HR Administrator, HR Officer, HR Advisor or HR Generalist
  • Significant experience managing various stages of disciplinary and grievance processes
  • BA/BSc Degree level in HR, HRM, HR Strategy or another relevant field
  • CIPD Qualification preferable
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements
  • Own transport, as travel to different sites will be required
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly confidential in nature
