Role: HR Generalist: Location: Dublin Abrivia are currently recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and innovative insurance company in the process of establishing their Irish operations, they are seeking a talented HR Generalist to support the transition and growth of their business. This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company at a pivotal stage in its development. Role Overview: As the HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting project work and setting up the HR function as the company transitions into the Irish market. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, from policy development to employee relations. Initially, this role will be fully remote, with a transition to a hybrid working model as the business establishes its local presence. Key Responsibilities: HR Setup and Administration: Assist in setting up HR policies, procedures, and systems in compliance with Irish employment law and industry standards. Employee Relations: Act as the point of contact for employee queries and concerns, ensuring effective communication and a positive employee experience. Project Support: Collaborate with the management team on HR-related project work to facilitate the smooth transition of the business into the Irish market. Policy Development: Create and implement HR policies, including contracts, employee handbooks, and benefits administration, tailored to the Irish market. Compliance: Ensure compliance with Irish employment laws and regulations and keep up-to-date with any legislative changes. Performance Management: Support the development and implementation of performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and development plans. Hybrid Work Transition: Assist in developing policies and practices for the transition from a fully remote workforce to a hybrid working model. HR Systems and Reporting: Manage and maintain HR systems and produce reports as required for HR metrics and analytics. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a start-up or busy environment. Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices. Proven ability to manage multiple HR projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. High level of initiative and problem-solving skills. Desirable: Previous experience from a Professional services sector. Experience setting up HR processes in a start-up or expansion phase.
