Job Description

About The Role We want to recruit a HR specialist on a fixed term contract to support the roll out of our LMS and other employee engagement projects. Working alongside HR colleagues, you will lead on the LMS and learning and development for the Institute while also supporting a wide range of HR tasks, including the development of skills, impact assessments, employee engagement and change initiatives. This role will report to the Head of Human Resources and Organisational Development. Learning & Development responsibilities: Develop an organisation wide learning and development framework. Lead on the roll out of Area 9 LMS for employees to drivethe further learning and development of employees within the organisation. With the support of HR colleagues, identify and assess the training needs of individuals, teams, or the entire organization. Support the design of high-impact programs, leveraging online learning & face to face to offer an effective learner experience and promote new ways of learning. Review participant progress, engagement, and development on programmes. Design and deliver relevant stakeholder communication before, during and after programme participation. Responsible for end-to-end programme management, (agreeing participation, training providers and training coordination). Assess the effectiveness of training programs using evaluations, feedback, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Employee Engagement and Communication: Lead internal campaigns related to employee engagement, well-being, diversity and inclusion, and other key HR initiatives. Introduce and lead initiatives that reinforce company values and culture. Revise or enhance employee recognition programs. Review and streamline our onboarding process for new hirers. Other: Support the HR team as required in areas such as recruitment, competency framework and skills gap analysis. Work with HR colleagues to implement various HR related projects collaborating with different departments. Development and updating of HR policies and procedures as required. Other duties as assigned by theHead of Human Resources and Organisational Development. Policies: Abide by Chartered Accountants Ireland policies, standards and initiatives locally including but not exclusively in relation to Performance management, relevant codes of conduct, Data protection, IT policies, health & safety, etc. Required Competencies & Personal Profile This position requires knowledge of several areas including: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and metrics to refine strategies. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in creating and maintaining comprehensive job descriptions. Team-oriented approach with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across departments. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong understanding of competency frameworks and their application in aligning job descriptions, skills assessment, and employee development. Proficiency in utilizing LinkedIn and other online platforms for talent attraction and recruitment. Education & Experience 3+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on supporting the area of Learning and Development preferably in the finance or professional sectors. Experience with leading employee engagement initiatives. Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience supporting key change initiatives desirable. Experience in managing diverse stakeholders at different levels of the organisation. Microsoft 365 Experience (SharePoint, Yammer, Team, Excel, and PowerPoint) CIPD Certification a plus.
