Human Resources Manager - Hospitality I am seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager on behalf of my client based in East Cork to lead all aspects of HR within a luxury hotel environment. This role will focus on employee brand, culture strategy, learning and development, employee engagement, retention, and compliance. As the HR Manager, you will be part of the senior management team, driving strategic initiatives that align with our company's mission, values, and vision. Key Responsibilities: HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and promote diversity, inclusion, and high performance. Lead on culture and employee retention strategies, ensuring our brand values are embedded across the hotel. Review and refine HR policies, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with current legislation. Provide expert advice to senior management on people management, performance, and development issues. Champion continuous improvement by introducing innovative ideas, technologies, and HR metrics to support decision-making. Team Development: Lead and support the HR team, offering coaching and development opportunities to foster a high-performing HR function. Implement a business partnership model that is agile and responsive to the hotel's evolving needs. Develop and maintain performance management systems and engagement initiatives to ensure ongoing staff development and satisfaction. Recruitment & Talent Management: Oversee the entire recruitment process, ensuring the highest calibre of talent is attracted and retained. Develop and manage succession planning to support future growth and employee development. Facilitate staff engagement initiatives, exit interviews, and staff forums to enhance employee experience. Employee Relations & Compliance: Handle employee relations issues discreetly, ensuring prompt and fair resolutions. Ensure all HR practices are legally compliant, with up-to-date contracts, policies, and handbooks. Manage HR administration and reporting, including compliance with Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, and Employment Law. Learning & Development: Oversee learning and development strategies in collaboration with department heads, ensuring all employees have the opportunity to grow and reach their full potential. Organise both statutory and non-statutory training, keeping comprehensive records of all training activities. Lead performance reviews and staff recognition programs, ensuring they are conducted regularly and effectively. Culture & Employee Engagement: Champion the hotel's culture and employee brand, ensuring that our values are embedded across all teams. Lead on employee engagement strategies, including cultural integration and maintaining a strong Employee Value Proposition (EVP). Promote diversity, inclusion, and the hotel's five core values - Integrity & Respect, Teamwork, Professionalism, Continuous Learning, and Embrace Change - within all HR activities. Qualifications & Experience: A proven track record in HR leadership, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry. Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Demonstrated experience in driving HR strategies, employee engagement, and talent development. Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.
