Job Description

Our client, an industry leader in their field are looking to hire aHR Managerto join their team based out of Longford . This role would ideally suit HR professionals with at least5 years of HR experiencewho have a"boots on the ground" approach. As a key member of the site management team you will be responsible forleading and implementing the HR strategy for the organisation. Working with the Head of HR, the HR Manager will drive key HR operational issues, driving the people agenda. This role will also work with the wider HR team on a variety of multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives across two manufacturing sites.Occasional travel requiredto Fermoy site HR Manager Key Responsibilities: Implementation of Group HR Strategies at the site level in conjunction with Group HR Management of the recruitment and induction process Support new employees with sourcing accommodation, social security, and onboarding Advise managers and supervisors in all aspects of the HR remit Monitor and manage absence records Manage the successful operation of the Employee Forums Leading the strategy and implementation of the Talent Management programme for the organisation Management of Temporary Agency Providers Partner with Senior Managers to deliver on workforce planning agenda in line with business needs Manage employee probationary periods and provide support and advice to management Lead the training agenda for the organisation, working closely with senior managers to deliver the same Maintenance of a site succession plan in conjunction with the Site Manager and the site's L&D agenda with the site trainer and functional managers Drive Employee Engagement programme agenda for the company Coach and Mentor site managers in the business, supporting them with the development of their own teams Enhance connections with local Universities in order to deliver the best-in-class Graduate programmes Play a key role on the senior management team, delivering people-focused solutions for the organisation What the ideal candidate looks like: Degree in HR or equivalent experience in a HR role with a minimum of 5 years of experience Excellent knowledge of employment law Superior communication skills Experience in an operational multi-site HR role would be advantageous For a confidential discussion, please contact Tina Cornally.
