A HR Manager is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based engineering services client for a maternity leave assignment, commencing in Jan 2025. Due to continued growth and appetite for continuous improvement, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to drive and implement change throughout the course of their assignment. As our HR Lead, you will have an ability to think strategically, enhancing HR strategy and plans while also navigating at an operational, hands-on level. THE ROLE: * Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the HR function, ensuring that a high-quality and responsive HR services is provided to all stakeholders. * Lead the execution of a strategic HR plan, fostering a performance-driven culture through continuous training and development initiatives and robust performance management. * Oversee and enhance the Performance Review & Development framework, ensuring that leadership teams are motivated and equipped to drive operational success and exceed targets. * Manage ongoing evaluation of compensation and benefits data and work with our Leadership team to enhance our Comp and Bens model. * Drive a positive employee experience and develop project strategy from employee feedback and employee engagement survey. * Oversee Talent Acquisition activity ensuring we have the right people at the right time. REQUIREMENTS: * Qualifications in Business/HR and 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally CIPD membership. * Proven HR leadership in strategy development, talent development, employee engagement, and compensation structures. * Strong HR leadership, change management, and coaching skills with excellent communication and a solution-focused attitude. * Must have tenured experience of working within a scaling Irish organisation. * This is a Cork-based role with monthly travel to Dublin (1-2 times per month).
