Job Description

Seeking an experienced HR Specialist to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with team members, managers, and other departments across all sites, delivering improvements and consistency in Human Resource processes.

Negotiable salary depending on experience.

Job Description

  • Develop and deliver an overarching HR strategy as part of overall business strategy.
  • Contribute to ensuring communications and employee engagement activities are delivered to a high standard throughout the business.
  • Manage complex employee relations casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and retirement.
  • Assist in third-party audits, such as customer audits and government bodies.
  • Define and monitor standards for staff management.
  • Research and develop personnel policies to ensure a well-trained and motivated staff pool.
  • Provide employee relations services on personnel issues.
  • Identify staffing needs and develop policies to recruit staff within agreed budgets.
  • Recommend and implement reward policies and structures for high-quality employees.
  • Negotiate with external agencies to secure favourable terms.
  • Ensure effective performance appraisal systems and implement Performance Improvement Plans as needed.
  • Carry out workplace investigations and advise staff on correct protocol.
  • Oversee the disciplinary process, ensuring fair process and natural justice.

Requirements

  • 3rd Level Education in a relevant field, such as Human Resources or Business.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in the Food industry.
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
