The role ofHSE Co-ordinatoris to implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Food Safety, Quality and H&S Systems & to ensure customer and legal requirements are met in our National & Secondary School Business. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join a busy team. You must have previous food industry experience within a food manufacturing environment to be considered for this role. To be successful in this role you will ensure all steps in the process are completed correctly and on time while also ensuring that quality standards are met at every step. This is afull time permanent role, and will only be required to work in line with the academic calendar and will be based from our Blanchardstown office, but being out on our school sites. Key Responsibilities: Role in our National & Secondary School Business Responsible for Food Safety, Quality and H&S Systems within Glanmore Foods run National & Secondary School Canteens. Travelling to schools across Ireland to ensure compliance to Glanmore standards. development and continuous improvement of our Standards within our schools. ensure compliance to customer and legal requirements. Conducting school audits. Liaise with the HSE, HSA and other external bodies as and when required to ensure Safety compliance. Liaising with the Glanmore team that drive this part of the business. Managing & Ordering equipment required for the safe operation of the school business. Report to the Quality Manager on the performance of the QMS and on methods for improving it where necessary. Role in technical support, Customer queries and complaints resolution. Support of Safety Roles in main sites as and when required. Role in Food Hygiene and Safety Training and ongoing training of staff on their responsibilities. About You: Degree in Food Science or equivalent. 2+ years experience in a Safety Role. Possess extensive knowledge regarding food safety systems and relevant regulations. internal auditing experience essential. Good working knowledge of Health and Safety. Good decision-making skills and ability to work on own initiative. Excellent communication skills Food Safety training experience. Good IT skills.
