Job Description

Hub Manager role in the public sector, responsible for managing services and staff to support adults with disabilities.

TTM Healthcare is partnering with a client in the public sector to recruit a Hub Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Location: Bantry

Pay scale: €41,059 to €63,359 (depending on previous relevant public sector experience)

Full Time: 35 hours per week

Duration: 12-month fixed-term contract

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure the services in the Hub or Hubs, including supports during the day, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ensure that the individual needs of each person enrolled are regularly reviewed and assessed.
  • Ensure compliance with best practice and regulations.
  • Guide and motivate staff in the implementation of goals identified in each person's plan.
  • Attend case review meetings, case conferences, and Referral & Enrolment meetings as required.
  • Ensure that all safeguarding concerns, incidents, and allegations of abuse are reported and responded to in line with organisational policy and procedures.
  • Promote a culture of active listening and engagement with families/significant others of the people we support.
  • Submit reports as requested by the Adult Day Services Manager and attend regular meetings as required.
  • Manage the overall budgets for the area of responsibility as a whole and approve purchase orders and invoices.
  • Carry out line management duties, including regular communication and engagement with front-line managers and leads.
  • Ensure effective planning of staff rosters in all Hubs of responsibility.

Requirements:

  • 3rd Level Qualification in a relevant area (Healthcare, Social Care, Health Economics, Youth, Community, or other relevant qualification).
  • Full Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • 5 years' experience of working in the social care/service setting.
  • Experience of working to professional and/or best practice standards.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of working in a Supervisory Management role.
