Job Description

Human Resources Business Partner required by leading growing multinational medical devices company based in Waterford. This new position is part of a HR Team and reports to the HR Manager on site. As a strategic HR partner for the business, you will provide comprehensive day to day HR support while maintaining a positive, diverse and inclusive workplace culture. Manage existing compensation and benefits programs and benchmark similar industries to ensure competitiveness. Propose and estimate the cost of new programs that align to our business objectives. Oversee the salary review process, manage within salary bands to ensure equitable and proportionate increases apply. Develop in-depth knowledge of H.R. systems (Workday and TMS), analyse HR metrics and provide insights to drive decision-making. Drive a positive employee relations culture; proactively resolve issues and mediate conflicts Promote and initiate new employee engagement programmes and encourage employees involvement in community and DEI events Coach and empower people leads during the entire employee life cycle, regarding employee relations matters and facilitate effective and proactive decision-making to ensure solutions are realistic, fair, timely, consistent, transparent and effective. Drive the recruitment process, working closely with the Hiring Manager to achieve the best result while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process. Responsible for employee files and relevant documentation in relation to new hires, changers and leavers ensuring SOX and audit compliant at all times. Lead/participate in departmental/cross functional projects Benchmark H.R. best practices and Develop company-wide HR initiatives and programs in line with business requirements. Devise and update H.R. policies and procedures in line with legislation, advise managers on their application and ensure compliance at all times Manage probation, performance reviews to ensure timely completion. Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives. Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP in all practices, recording of events and processes. Ensure compliance with all learnings from all GMP training events. Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position. Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or similar HR discipline. 4+ years experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. HR Systems experience highly desirable. Skills/Attributes: Ability to work on own initiative and be pro-active. Proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels Flexibility and confidentiality. Results oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a short period of time. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
