Job Description

A well-established hotel, part of a respected hospitality group, is currently seeking a Human Resources Executive to join their team. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for candidates interested in reduced or part-time hours. The successful candidate will oversee the daily Human Resources operations of the hotel and will report directly to the General Manager and the Group Human Resources Manager. Main Duties: Oversee the daily administrative duties of the Human Resources department. Support Heads of Department in all aspects of team management, including recruitment, training, performance management, employee engagement, development, and talent planning. Manage and monitor the recruitment process, including advertising, screening, selection, and onboarding. Ensure new employees receive all necessary documentation and training, providing a positive and professional onboarding experience. Maintain up-to-date and compliant employee files, striving for a paperless HR department. Ensure compliance with statutory training requirements and coordinate necessary refresher training. Schedule and coordinate training sessions as needed. Assist Heads of Department in managing disciplinary processes, ensuring fair and timely procedures, and consulting with the Group HR Manager as required. Manage employee grievances in accordance with company procedures, consulting with the Group HR Manager as necessary. Submit weekly payroll to the payroll department each Monday. Implement and deliver group-wide HR projects and initiatives within the hotel. Monitor and manage absenteeism in the hotel. The successful candidate will have: A qualification in Human Resources Management or be in the process of obtaining one. A minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR role or department. Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and best practices. Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Leadership and conflict management skills.
