Job Summary: Human Resources Specialist
The Marine Institute seeks a Human Resources Specialist to support the delivery of corporate services, manage projects, and provide HR services to a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of corporate services and governance requirements linked with multiple externally funded projects and service level agreements.
- Manage projects, staff, and budgets, with a focus on delivering results under tight deadlines.
- Provide HR services, including learning and development, payroll, and HR management information systems.
- Develop and implement a learning and development strategy for the organization.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements:
- Relevant third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum two years of relevant work experience in a supervisory or lead role in a human resource environment.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in producing and implementing a learning and development strategy.
- High levels of computer literacy, including MS Office packages and HR management information systems.
- Demonstrated current knowledge and understanding of Irish employment law and current HR-related legislation and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
