HVAC Engineer A multidisciplinary contractor is currently seeking a HVAC Site Engineer to work on a range of both commercial & industrial buildings around Limerick and Cork. As the ideal candidate, you will be self-driven and proactive, capable of working independently to meet on-site deadlines. Strong communication skills are essential, enabling you to effectively engage with both clients and colleagues. You should also be able to produce reports in a timely manner. Having knowledge in both plumbing and electrical systems is an added advantage. Duties & Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance of commercial heating and cooling equipment. Communicate with management regarding status of work orders. Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g. Air conditioning systems, electrical boilers, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance. Installation of air-conditioning equipment, heating and ventilation systems. Maintain service vehicle, tools and equipment in good working order. Participate in meetings, workshops and training as required. Requirements Time served fully qualified trades person from a plumbing, refrigeration and/or an A/C background. Background in service and installation of AC equipment. RGI certification favourable. Minimum 3+ years HVAC experience. Valid/clean drivers licence. Knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of Split AC, VRV systems, Fan Coil Units, Air Handling Units.
