About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our clients' mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in mechanical systems, using your knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to client requests and queries.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
About You:
- You will have a strong background in HVAC engineering, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- You will hold a relevant qualification, such as a City & Guilds Level 2 Award in F-Gas Regulation or a FETAC Level 5 Specific Purpose Certificate in Handling F-Gas Refrigerants.
- You will have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- You will be highly organized, with excellent time management and communication skills.
- You will be able to work flexibly, including occasional overtime and out-of-hours work.
