Job Description
Hitachi Energy seeks a Service Engineer to work on the East to West Interconnector HVDC Link in the UK and Ireland. Responsibilities include providing 1st line support, maintenance, and repair services, with a focus on delivering high availability, maintaining system value, and ensuring customer satisfaction. A base location within 60-minute drive of the Portan HVDC Converter is required. Relevant trade qualifications, HV substation experience, and maintenance/fault finding experience are essential. The successful candidate will work closely with the existing Service Team to gain competencies and provide technical reports and fault analysis.
