Dunnes Stores is Ireland's leading retailer positioned at the cutting edge of food and fashion retailing. We are Irish owned and operate over 130 stores across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Spain, as well as a growing online store. We are expanding our service and product offering for our customers all the time. We are looking to recruit an image retoucher to work with our fast-paced, high volume photography studio. The successful candidate will have a background in fashion and still life retouching, a thorough knowledge of Photoshop and confidence using a Mac. They will have a critical eye, meticulous attention to detail and excellent technical abilities. The role will revolve around retouching and monitoring image consistency, and accurately managing photography files. The environment will be extremely fast paced and the photography volumes very high and previous experience working for mail order/ online and fashion clients would be advantageous. Responsibilities: Retouch digital photographic images Name and maintain digital asset file/structure organisation Upload images to the website Ensure colour consistency between image assets Strong colour correction skills Perform quality assurance on all images Ability to receive creative direction from studio manager and make amends where necessary Essential Skills & Requirements: High technical proficiency in Photoshop Graduate or similar in a Visual Arts related degree Strong retouching skills Proven experience retouching product photography Previous experience working within a digital photographic studio Strong understanding of colour correction Strong understanding of image constraints Proven ability to work efficiently and producing a high turnover of quality images Excellent eye for detail You will be required to present before and after work and conduct a practical interview If this sounds like the job for you, please apply and tell us why you would be perfect for this challenging and rewarding role at one of Ireland's most successful fashion retailers.
