Job Description

In-Store HR Manager - Limerick Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced In-store HR Manager to join our client's store in Limerick. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of HR management within the store, ensuring compliance with HR policies, fostering employee engagement, and supporting overall store operations. This is a key role in driving the people strategy and ensuring the store runs smoothly by maintaining high levels of staff engagement and customer satisfaction. Salary: €40 - €45k Responsibilities: HR Management: Manage all HR-related processes, including absence management, timekeeping, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures for all employees, maintaining a working knowledge of employment legislation Conduct disciplinary procedures and ensure all HR policies are followed Oversee key HR metrics such as absenteeism, turnover, and engagement Manage site payroll with the support of the Payroll department, ensuring accurate and timely processing Focus on employee welfare and wellbeing, managing holidays, rosters, overtime, and staff standards Conduct regular team briefings to ensure clear communication with all staff Lead and manage staff engagement initiatives and charity projects Customer Service and Operations: Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained across checkout, reception, and cash office operations Develop and maintain processes for addressing customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally, ensuring they are tracked and monitored regularly Implement and review operational procedures, ensuring they are followed consistently Oversee the coordination of checkout operations, ensuring accuracy and smooth processing at all times Implement a monthly audit process for reception operations, ensuring all systems and procedures are compliant and effective Requirements: Proven experience in a HR role within a retail or similar fast-paced environment Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and disciplinary procedures Experience managing recruitment, onboarding, and payroll processes Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage teams Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail Ability to work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems is an advantage If you are interested in this In-store HR role, then please apply to Nikki Murran via the link below.
