Job Description
Seeking a Tax Analyst to assist with US indirect tax compliance and related projects through established subject matter expertise.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business, and 3+ years of in-house experience with US indirect tax compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the preparation and coordination of US indirect tax returns
- Collaborating with different teams on indirect tax implications of new product offerings
- Providing guidance to customer support teams on sales tax
- Analyzing US indirect tax compliance, including research and documentation of indirect tax law developments
- Validating sales tax exemption certificates and coordinating responses to tax authorities
The successful candidate will have:
- Thorough knowledge of US tax laws and regulations
- Experience with indirect tax engines and compliance software, preferably Vertex and Avalara
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and tax research software
- Netsuite ERP experience a plus
