Industrial Cleaner required for a food pack house environment. Maintain cleanliness of designated areas using equipment and materials provided.
Meade Farm Group is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as an Industrial Cleaner. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness of all designated areas in a food pack house environment using appropriate equipment and materials provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep clean production machinery, fridges, and storage areas.
- Clean all floors and surfaces at regular intervals.
- Ensure relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures are followed.
- Report any dangers or hazards to the Health & Safety Officer.
- Manage stock and store cleaning agents and equipment safely.
- Establish and maintain a consistent cleaning schedule with line supervisors and division managers.
- Complete and maintain all associated records and paperwork.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of cleaning experience in an industrial or factory environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Experience working at heights and using mobile access platforms and Reach & Wash Systems is an advantage.
Person Specification:
- Good level of English required.
- Must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland.
- Understanding of safe storage of chemicals and equipment, and Health & Safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently, punctually, and reliably.
- Assertive with a positive attitude and 'safety first' mindset.
Job Details:
- Full-time, permanent position.
