Industrial Engineering Specialist

Allegion is a global leader in security and safety solutions, with over 30 brands and 12,000 employees worldwide.

We are seeking a junior engineer with a strong academic background in mechanical or electronic engineering to join our team.

About the Role

  • Implement and maintain master data, routing, and BOMs.
  • Develop and implement standard operations across all production processes and assembly lines.
  • Participate in projects to increase plant productivity and develop new processes.
  • Conduct value stream analysis and implement lean projects to improve on-time delivery, safety, and cost objectives.
  • Maintain production standards and work on opportunities to improve operations KPI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain standard work to achieve best cost, quality, and performance.
  • Develop and implement plant layout and process change.
  • Work on OEE and utilization, TPM, and 5 S.
  • Develop and implement process document procedures for process specs and control plans.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in mechanical or related fields.
  • Fluent in English, both conversation and writing.
  • Max 3-4 years of working experience, preferably in manufacturing companies.

Competencies

  • Strong execution ability to get the work done within target, time, and budget.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal and external colleagues.
  • Project management.
  • Knowledge of lean methodologies and technical knowledge of re-design of production and assembly processes.
