The Opportunity An experienced Information Security Specialist is currently being sought by Allianz Plc. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual with strong ambitions for professional development to grow security expertise within an experienced team. The preferred candidate will get exposure to cutting edge security technologies at one of the world's largest financial institutions. At Allianz, our Information Security Team are required to have working knowledge of security principles & their application to Information Security Risk Management. This is an Information Security Governance role and not hands-on in terms of implementation or operations. However, a technical background in some combination of identity & access management, cloud security, networking, security monitoring, vulnerability management is considered an advantage. Role Responsibilities: Performs Information Security risk assessments. Ensure adherence to Allianz Group and local Security policy, directives, standards and guidelines. Strong solutions focus towards supporting the business in securely achieving its goals. Conduct assessments of management, operation, and technical security controls of IT systems. Research to evaluate potential vulnerabilities in IT systems and networks. Performs governance and oversight activities on identity & access management. Undertake third party risk assessments. Analysis and testing of systems security. Maintain understanding of the evolving threat landscape. Essential Experience A minimum of 3 years Information Security risk assessment experience. Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles and methods. Technical background in one or more of the following Identity & Access Management, Third Party Risk Management, M365 and Azure Cloud Security. Working understanding of a broad range of security controls including secure network design concepts, vulnerability management, security monitoring, antivirus technologies etc. Desirable Experience Understanding of best practices and frameworks such as COBIT, ISO , ISF, NIST, CIS & OWASP. Systems administration of one or more of Linux, Windows Server and Active Directory or iSeries AS/400. Previous experience performing application, vendor and/or infrastructure risk assessments. Exposure to Data Analysis, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence. Understanding of business continuity planning relative to various cyber threat scenarios will be beneficial. Cyber Security Management Reporting with experience with M365, PowerBI, PowerApps is highly desirable. Exposure to Qualys suite of vulnerability management tools, ServiceNow and/or Dell One Identity Manager. Familiarity with security architecture concepts, PowerShell scripting or penetration testing experience is a distinct plus.
