The Infrastructure and Cloud Operations Manager will be a strategic leader with a strong technical background, proven track record in managing cross-functional teams, and a deep understanding of cloud technologies and ITIL best practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring seamless service delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. A snapshot of your key responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic plans to align technology initiatives with business goals. Manage and oversee cloud operations, migrations, and implementations, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal performance. Lead and coach the IT operations team, promoting adherence to ITIL processes and best practices. Oversee infrastructure components including WAN, compute, OS, Active Directory, storage, virtualization, and networking. Ensure robust service delivery through ITIL-driven methodologies and continuous improvement. Implement and manage automation and cloud management tools to enhance operational efficiency. Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Manage resources, prioritize tasks, and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Maintain strong knowledge of Azure Cloud, M365 Cloud Services, and network and security principles. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and, 8+ years of relevant experience in cloud and infrastructure operations, managing such environments with a proven track record of successfully managing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration. In depth ITIL knowledge and demonstrable experience in service delivery and implementation of ITIL driven best practices ITIL Service Management certification Certified in cloud computing or related certifications such as Azure, AWS and M365 and hands-on experience with cloud operations, cloud migration and implementation projects. Proven expertise managing infrastructure components including cloud technologies, WAN, compute, operating system, active directory, storage, virtualization and networking. Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, aligning technology initiatives with business goals. Strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, and excellent communication skills to lead the IT operations team, provide guidance and coaching to ensure consistent service delivery, adherence to ITIL processes and foster a continuous improvement mindset. Strong technical acumen in cloud technologies, proficiency in automation and cloud management tools are essential, combined with deep understanding of foundational infrastructure technologies such as network and security. Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud, M365 Cloud Services Excellent knowledge of network (LAN & WAN), virtualisation, compute, storage technologies and standards. Excellent understanding of core security principles. Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical users, ability to communicate with individuals and groups Detail-oriented, strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Flexible and self-starting with an exceptional aptitude for dealing with ambiguity, unexpected.
