Experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer sought to design, implement, and maintain core IT systems and networks, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our client's core IT systems and networks.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in server, network, and cloud infrastructure.
- Design, install, and manage on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
- Ensure the availability and performance of servers, storage, and networks.
- Implement security best practices and manage firewalls, VPNs, and backups.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary upgrades.
- Collaborate with development and support teams to improve infrastructure performance.
- Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting (e.g., Power Shell, Python).
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
- Scripting skills (Power Shell, Python) for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
