We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading financial services institution in Dublin on a daily rate contract basis. This role demands extensive experience with Microsoft upgrades, specifically in server and user device migrations. Key Responsibilities: Lead migration projects, including server upgrades and user device migrations to Windows 11. Manage and configure Office365, ensuring optimal setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting practices. Deploy and maintain Windows Server 2022 environments, including configuration, security, and administration. Utilise Intune for mobile device management and application deployment across the organisation. Implement and manage SCCM for system updates, server configurations, and endpoint protection. Conduct file share migrations, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure infrastructure projects align with business objectives and compliance standards. Provide expert technical support, guidance, and training to team members and end-users. Document infrastructure changes, configurations, and processes for audit trails and compliance. Essential Experience: Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in a technical SME role, specifically with Microsoft environments. Extensive experience with Office365, Windows 11, Windows Server 2022, Intune, and SCCM. Strong background in conducting large-scale migration projects, particularly file share migrations and operating system upgrades. Knowledge of best practices in system security, data protection, and compliance within the financial services sector. Strong project management skills and the ability to lead projects independently. Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Benefits: Competitive daily rate.
