Job Description
We're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our client on a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension. This role is essential in providing onsite support across three locations within a 5-mile radius in Waterford, Ireland. The successful candidate will play a key role in diagnosing hardware and software issues, maintaining till environments, and supporting network systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in diagnosing hardware and software issues
- Managing till network mappings
- Connecting tills to local printers and maintaining peripherals (scanners, payment terminals, receipt printers)
- Basic knowledge of Follow Me Ricoh MFD Printing System for troubleshooting and support
- Cisco Network Switches
- Understanding of VLAN changes with the ability to manage network port changes onsite for equipment relocation
- Familiarity with Meraki Wi-Fi Access Points and support
- CATO VPN Architecture support and monitoring
- Windows Autopilot - Assist in setting up new laptops
- Support for isolated OEM Legacy Systems used in factory operations
- Experience setting up and configuring new iPhones as required
Details:
- Role: IT Infrastructure Engineer (Hardware, Network, and System Support)
- Location: Onsite – 1 Day per Week (Waterford) with flexible working hours
- Contract Length: Rolling Contract
- Rate: €300 to €350 per day
