WANTED:I am looking for a Infrastructure Lead for a brand new permanent role based in North Dublin. As the Infrastructure Lead, you will be the primary technology expert in planning, supporting and troubleshooting any issues with this large scale infrastructure system. You will be responsible for managing BAU tasks as well as driving projects to successful outcomes and ensuring that infrastructure is built and operated in a manner that provides the availability, performance, and security necessary for my client to manage and grow. You have at least 5 years of experience in a Tech Lead or Senior Infrastructure Engineer role and exceptional planning and project management skills. You demonstrate a commitment to understanding customer needs and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent customer outcomes. You are an analytical thinker with a commonsense approach to solving problems and resolving issues in a complex environment. You are a strong team player, and you manage your time effectively to meet competing demands. The role will look like an architect role,but with a managerial angle: Cyber, IT and Cloud, Networks, Help desk team management, Vendor management, with a certain amount of Solutions Architecture.This is a massive site, 5,000+ users, employing some state-of-the-art tech. The tech budget per year is circa 20+ million so this is a key hire for the business.
